Night Warehouse Lead

Johnson Brothers is a family‑owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer.

We are seeking a Warehouse Night Lead to assist the Manager and Supervisor with replenishment, receiving, training of new hires, and other basic warehouse functions.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 4:30 p.m. until shift completion or as business needs dictate. This is a labor‑intensive role requiring frequent movement of stock both manually and with equipment.

• Assist the manager with directing activities of all warehouse associates, including loading, unloading, and replenishment.
• Act as liaison between employees and managers.
• Influence and motivate peers to achieve goals.
• Assist the manager in directing workflow and monitoring employee productivity and accuracy to ensure efficiency.
• Meet productivity goals for the position.
• Be proficient in all work areas for the shift.
• Use the warehouse management system to locate products while ensuring inventory accuracy and control.
• Safely operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move product.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Warehouse experience.
• Basic math skills required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with warehouse equipment, including forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; experience with warehouse management systems and Workday software desired.
• Capacity to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely lift 40–60 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to work assigned hours, Monday through Friday; availability for additional hours/days without advance notice.
• Endurance for prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Candidate must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen, a criminal background check, and Fit‑for‑Duty testing.

Expected pay rate: $25.00 per hour.
