Warehouse Worker - Order Selector - 2nd Shift

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.

Sunday to Wednesday 3:00 PM until all work is complete.

$21.50 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential, totaling $22.50 per hour.

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading
• Loads and unloads trailers
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Moves materials within the warehouse
• Packages or kits finished products for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Electronically scans products using a warehouse management system
• Attaches identifying tags to containers or marks them with identifying information
• Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
• Prepares parcels for mailing
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

• No prior warehouse experience required, but preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate customer service, multi‑tasking, organizational, flexible, and time‑management skills
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule in the specified location
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• Position is safety sensitive; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
