Job Description

Receive, store products and materials; operate all material handling equipment safely; complete all associated paperwork accurately; maintain a clean work area in accordance with company standards.

Position Details
  • $19.98 – $25.19 per hour (opportunity for raises within the first year)
  • Hiring immediately; reliable transportation required
  • Four–day work week:
    Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 12:00 am to 10:30 am
  • Loads range from 5 to 75 pounds
  • Forklift and electric pallet jack experience required; double pallet jack experience preferred (training provided)
  • Must be flexible to work in all three zones (dry, cooler, freezer)

General Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions
  • Under the direction of the operations supervisor, inspect incoming and outgoing warehouse products for acceptability; read labels and document information; count and verify quantities; move, lift, carry, and place product on pallets, trailers, or storage areas in temperature‑controlled or non‑controlled environments.
  • Utilize forklift or pallet jack to operate in an accident‑free manner, maintaining a full range of peripheral vision.
  • Maintain calibrated thermometers and perform calibration checks per procedure; rotate product to observe first‑in, first‑out; document code dates to meet quality standards; bring product down from racks as needed while ensuring proper rotation and keeping pallets consolidated.
  • Ensure all cases are on pallets and in correct slot locations; return mis‑stocked products to correct slots.
  • Count items as directed by Inventory Control Coordinators; maintain clean‑as‑you‑go standards with brooms, mops, solvents, soaps, and other cleaning materials.
  • Complete any other functions assigned.
  • Physical Requirements & Percentage of Time
    • 75 % of time:
      Inspect incoming and outgoing product; operate forklift and pallet jack.
    • 25 % of time:
      Read labels, calculate and count.
    • 20 % of time:
      Lift, carry, and pick product.
    • 100 % of time:
      Clean work area.
    • Vision, hearing, handling, walking, standing, and coordination required continuously.
    • Lifting: under 10 lb, 10–25 lb, 26–50 lb (frequently), 51–75 lb (occasionally). Pushing and pulling occasionally with maximum force 50 lb.
    • Bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, twisting, balance, reaching, endurance of cold environment and temperature changes required.
