Warehouse Worker - Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to join a team that values safety and a positive, outgoing attitude. This role provides an excellent opportunity to excel in a dynamic warehouse environment.

• Thursday to Saturday, 3:00 PM until finished

• $21.00 base pay + $1.00 shift differential = $22.00 per hour

• Accurately match numbers and letters.
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Load and unload trailers.
• Stack cardboard boxes and pallets.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Package or kit finished products for shipping (shrink wrap, box, label).
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Identify and remove damaged products when received.
• Read production, customer, work, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to move, gather, or distribute.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
• Fill requisitions and work orders.
• Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable).
• Transport stored items from warehouse to plant or pick up items from several locations for shipment (where applicable).
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently and provide customer service; multi‑tasking, organizational, and time‑management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime (preferred).
• Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Willingness to work the required schedule at the specified location.
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (past employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening.

• Must remember and understand instructions, guidelines, or information.
• Must see and communicate verbally; close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision, and ability to adjust focus required.
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms.
• Must regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
