1st Shift DC Pipe Yard Associate

Job Overview

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate. This position is Monday through Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm.

• Operate heavy motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner
• Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material
• Coordinate the removal and replacement of worn components
• Effectively put items away and receive them in WMS (Warehouse Management System)
• Prioritize workload appropriately to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required

• Background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory (preferred)
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it
• General computer proficiency for basic data entry
• Forklift operator experience is strongly preferred
• Must work outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures
• Ability to carry objects up to 50lbs by hand and 50lbs or more using equipment
• Pre‑employment drug and background screening required

Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour with the ability to earn a monthly incentive bonus. Pay range: $15.00 – $41.97. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
