Job Title
Parts Coordinator
Location and CompensationHourly base pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour. Pay may vary within this range based on location and candidate qualifications. Potential additional compensation includes commission and incentive programs.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and verify parts against invoices; resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Enter parts accurately in Recon
360/AS400 and verify against purchase orders. - Process invoices by scanning, labeling, and routing invoices and pick‑tickets.
- Organize inventory by tagging, storing, and maintaining parts in designated areas by Work Order.
- Manage stock levels, monitor inventory, order parts, and maintain minimum stock requirements.
- Handle returns and credit documentation with vendors.
- Support technicians by distributing parts per Work Orders and ensuring accuracy.
- Conduct daily bin audits and update inventory systems.
- Identify and report safety concerns during routine walkthroughs.
- Respond to emails and coordinate communication with vendors and team members.
- Cross‑train in the parts estimator role to support business operations during times of need.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of experience in parts, inventory, warehouse, or automotive environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (AS400, Recon
360, or similar) is a plus. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry).
Warehouse/shop setting with frequent standing, walking, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Regular handling of automotive parts and materials.
