- Order fulfillment:
Pick, pack and prepare shipments specific to each customer order, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. - Shipping coordination:
Process shipping labels and documents while prepping products in staging areas for transportation or pick-ups. - Inspection:
Check incoming goods for defects, damages, or discrepancies, and report issues to the supervisor or purchasing department. - Inventory management:
Update inventory systems with received items and ensure proper labeling and storage in designated locations. - Documentation:
Complete receiving logs, file necessary paperwork, and maintain accurate records for inventory tracking. - Equipment use:
Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. - Coordination:
Collaborate with receiving, shipping, inventory, and quality control to ensure smooth workflow and accurate stock levels. - Stock organization:
Maintain the receiving area, keeping it clean and hazard-free. - Returns:
Process returned items or defective goods, coordinating with vendors or suppliers for replacements or credits. - Other responsibilities may be assigned.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using receiving software and systems.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP software is a plus.
- Forklift certification is an advantage but not required.
Pay $21/hour+ based on experience
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:30pm
