Position Title: Cost and Inventory Control Accountant

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 / Year DOE

As the Cost and Inventory Control Accountant, you will play a key role in helping the company maintain accurate inventory, improve operational efficiency, and support informed business decisions. • Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels
• Manage annual physical inventory counts and regular cycle counts
• Ensure inventory accuracy within the company’s inventory system
• Forecast raw material needs based on production demand
• Maintain bills of materials and properly allocate labor and overhead costs
• Analyze inventory costs, variances, and discrepancies
• Prepare inventory and cost reports for management
• Work closely with operations to ensure inventory transactions are recorded accurately
• Help organize and identify inventory for efficient warehouse management
• Assist with vendor relationships and pricing discussions
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls
• Support financial audits and provide information for outside reporting requests

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, or inventory management
• Experience with any ERP system
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Spanish language proficiency is preferred
• Experience with Sage 100 is preferred
• Experience with Power BI is preferred
