Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
• Develop and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and compliance procedures
• Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support business decision‑making
• Handle inventory costing, job costing, and operational financial metrics for packaging and pallet services
• Lead accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
• Prepare financial statements and reports for leadership review
• Collaborate with operations on cost optimization, pricing, and efficiency initiatives
• Support audits, tax compliance, and financial planning activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with 3+ years in a Controller or similar leadership role
• Strong background in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain industries preferred
• Proficiency with accounting software (Quick Books, ERP systems), advanced Excel, and financial reporting tools
• Proven experience with inventory management, cost accounting, and operational analysis
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical abilities and high integrity
