Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Manage month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and compliance procedures
- Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support business decision‑making
- Handle inventory costing, job costing, and operational financial metrics for packaging and pallet services
- Lead accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
- Prepare financial statements and reports for leadership review
- Collaborate with operations on cost optimization, pricing, and efficiency initiatives
- Support audits, tax compliance, and financial planning activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with 3+ years in a Controller or similar leadership role
- Strong background in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain industries preferred
- Proficiency with accounting software (Quick Books, ERP systems), advanced Excel, and financial reporting tools
- Proven experience with inventory management, cost accounting, and operational analysis
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical abilities and high integrity
