Senior Tax Accountant

Senior Tax Accountant w/ Established Mid-Size CPA Firm – Greater Chicago Area (Multiple Locations)

Our client is a respected and well-established Mid-Size CPA firm that is actively seeking a Senior Tax Accountant (CPA or actively pursuing) to join its growing team onsite but after a busy season or two getting up to speed, this will move toward a Hybrid Schedule. Candidates can work out of Elk Grove Village (HQ), Elgin, McHenry, or their Woodridge offices.

• Compensation Target: $105,000 – $115,000
• Overtime Pay: Time-and-a-half offered year-round, including busy season

• Normal Season: 40 hours/week
• Busy Season: 55–60 hours/week (including Saturdays)

• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA required
• Strong experience with tax preparation and compliance for individuals and/or businesses
• Background working within a reputable CPA firm preferred
