We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Auto Parts Clerical Support Staff member to assist with processing, tracking, and resolving claims related to damaged or missing inventory. This position plays a vital role in helping maintain inventory accuracy, ensuring timely resolution of issues, and supporting the warehouse operations team with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Log and document all damaged, missing, or returned items from shipments
  • Initiate and track claims with carriers, vendors, or internal departments
  • Collect, organize, and maintain evidence (photos, reports, packing slips, etc.) for each claim
  • Communicate with warehouse staff, drivers, suppliers, and customer service teams regarding claim status
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on claims, damages, and resolutions
  • Update inventory systems to reflect claims or adjustments
  • Assist with quality control checks and damage assessments as needed
  • Maintain filing systems and records, both digital and physical
  • Support clerical needs within the warehouse office environment
Qualifications

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED); additional training in logistics or inventory control is a plus
  • Minimum 1 year of clerical or administrative experience
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to follow through with minimal supervision
  • MUST BE ABLE TO PASS AND DRUG SCREEN AND BACKGROUND CHECK
