Position Summary
The Sustainability Analyst will play a key role in supporting both North American and Global Sustainability initiatives. This role is responsible for sustainability data management, reporting, and cross-functional coordination to advance OSI’s environmental and sustainability goals and commitments.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can operate both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, ownership of deliverables, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
PrincipalDuties & Responsibilities
- Individual contributor with no direct reports.
- Possess technical skills in the measurement, tracking, and validation of sustainability metrics (e.g., Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions; energy; water; waste) and progress against company goals.
- Understand the foundational elements of sustainability and apply them to the food industry and OSI’s business model, including supply chain impacts.
- Manage own work independently with minimal guidance and learn on the job and through real-life scenarios and peers.
- Partner with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Operations, and facility teams to collect, validate, and improve sustainability data and reporting processes.
- Investigate mindset to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Troubleshoot and pinpoint root causes for discrepancies, working cross-functionally to improve data accuracy and consistency.
- Contribute to team strategy to automate and streamline sustainability data collection, management, and reporting systems (e.g., Benchmark/Gensuite).
- Support enterprise sustainability reporting efforts (e.g., GRI, CDP, SBTi, regulatory disclosures) through data collection, validation, and documentation.
- Develop skills to update and create reports within Tableau, Power BI or similar tools through training and experience.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain business solutions to improve performance.
- Stay current with internal data governance policies and procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization activities by seeking and implementing industry best practices.
- Participate in meetings and communications with all departments of the company cross-functionally.
- Provide support and training to Business Stakeholders on sustainability data entry, reporting expectations and performance tracking tools.
- Work closely with team members to analyze and validate report outputs.
- Assist with ad‑hoc data requests and data gathering for business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to clarify and better define request details to support efficient reporting.
- Understand and apply appropriate safety procedures, including education, training, use of protective equipment, and adherence to safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1–3 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
- Working knowledge of data extraction and analysis.
- Experience in a distribution, supply chain or warehouse environment is a strong plus.
- Excellent proficiency in Office 365, especially Excel.
- Working knowledge of Benchmark Gensuite, Tableau, and Power BI is a strong plus.
- BA/BS or equivalent is preferred.
The salary range for this role is $67,568–$101,352, with a midpoint of $84,460. Offers are typically made between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on skills, experience, and internal equity. In rare cases, highly qualified candidates may receive an offer above the midpoint; however, offers at the maximum of the range are not customary. The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSI’s salary range for this position.
Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience, and performance. Base salary is one component of OSI’s overall total rewards package. Other components may include bonuses, special pay programs, comprehensive time off, 401(k) with match, and a full suite of benefit offerings for you and your family.

- Work conditions are typical of an office environment.
- This role requires 10% domestic travel.
- Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds.
- Position may require frequent or infrequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use of hands or fingers, talking, hearing, feeling objects, tools, controls, and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
