Are you a driven, high-impact sales professional who thrives on winning new business? We’re partnering with a global laboratory services organization looking for a hunter-minded Business Development Manager to expand its Life Sciences division.
This is a pure new business role - ideal for someone who loves opening doors, building relationships from scratch, and closing high-value deals in the pharma, biotech, and life sciences space.
Business Development Manager - Responsibilities:- Drive new business growth across a defined territory
- Identify and win new in sourcing partnerships with pharma, biotech, and life sciences clients
- Build and manage a strong pipeline to exceed multi-million-dollar revenue targets
- Own the full sales cycle: from prospecting to close
- Collaborate with scientific and operational teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Develop strategic account plans and penetrate key target clients
- Represent the business at industry events and client meetings
- Skills and Experience:
- Proven hunter mentality with a track record of winning new business
- Experience selling complex, solution-based services e.g (CRO, scientific services)
- Established network in pharma, biotech, or life sciences
- Self-starter who can work independently and cross-functionally
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
