This internship is designed for students who want to build technical, operational, and leadership skills while contributing to meaningful projects across Abb Vie Operations. Interns gain exposure toreal business challenges, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and learn how Operations supports Abb Vie’s mission to deliver innovative solutions for patients.

As an Abb Vie Operations Development Program Intern, you willparticipatein a paid, 11-week summer program working on meaningful assignments that have a real impact on our business and patients worldwide. Abb Vie’s global Operationsorganizationoffersopportunitiesto work in a variety of functional areas, with assignments aligned to business needs,your field of study, and your skills.

During the internship, participants maybe responsible for analyzing data, supporting process improvements, preparing project updates, collaborating with site and functional teams, and presenting recommendations to business stakeholders. Assignments are designed to help interns strengthen technical problem-solving, communication, and project execution skills in a professional Operations environment.

Past examples of projects have included:

• Product and process optimization in an manufacturing facility

• Quality systems data analysis toidentifycompliance trends

• Optimize an enzyme to catalyze a challenging step in the synthesis of a recently approved product

Operations Development Program Interns will be placed in one of the following U.S.locations based on business needs, academic background, and skill set.

• Branchburg, New Jersey

• Irvine, California

• Lake County, Illinois

• Waco, Texas

• Worcester, Massachusetts

Abb Vie strongly considers high-performing interns as candidates forthe

Operations Development Program after graduation.

Abb Vie’s ODP is a three-year rotational program with three separate work assignmentsacrossa variety of functional areas within Operations.

The program isdesignedto develop Abb Vie’s future leadersby providing broadbusinessexposure,global perspective, andopportunitiesfor skill-building and professional development.

• Must be currently enrolled in university, pursuing abachelor's degree in chemical engineering,mechanical engineering,chemistry, or related major discipline

• Must be enrolled inauniversityforthe semester followingtheinternship andbe expected to graduate withinoneyearafter completing the internship

• Expected graduation date between December 2027 – June 2028

• Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e., extracurricular activities or projects)

• Demonstrated critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze information, evaluate alternatives, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, team-based environment

• Mobility is a key requirement because this internship servesas a pipeline toAbbVie’sOperations Development Program.
