Job Details

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Safety Engineer to join a nationally recognized general contractor specializing in large-scale industrial and commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating safe work environments and driving continuous improvement in safety culture across job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement site-specific safety programs across multiple active construction projects.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to proactively identify and mitigate safety risks.
  • Deliver engaging safety training sessions and toolbox talks to field personnel.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction safety, preferably in industrial or commercial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel to job sites across the region.
