Superintendent - Affordable Housing Renovations

We’re working with a growing real estate owner/developer looking to add an experienced Construction Superintendent to its Chicago construction team.

You’ll be joining an established, vertically integrated real estate platform with a long track record across multifamily and affordable housing, alongside adaptive reuse and commercial projects. The business operates as a long-term owner and developer, giving the construction team direct involvement in the assets they’re building and renovating rather than simply delivering projects for third-party clients.

• Lead day-to-day construction activity on site
• Manage subcontractors, sequencing, manpower and schedules
• Coordinate inspections, deliveries and site logistics
• Drive quality control, punch and project closeout
• Identify field, constructability and schedule issues before they impact delivery
• Work closely with Project Management, ownership, architects and engineers
• Maintain jobsite safety and OSHA compliance

• 5–10+ years of Superintendent / field leadership experience
• Multifamily, renovation/rehab or complex commercial experience
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and building systems
• Ability to manage multiple trades and complex schedules
• OSHA 30 preferred/required or ability to obtain
• Strong field leadership — someone comfortable taking ownership of the jobsite
