OSP Construction Manager – North Chicagoland, IL
I’m currently looking for an experienced OSP Construction Manager to join a growing fiber/telecom team in the North Chicagoland area.
This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a salary of $65K–$80K, plus a company truck.
What you’ll be doing :- Lead fiber and OSP construction projects in the field
- Oversee contractors, crews, and construction activities
- Monitor safety, quality, schedules, and project progress
- Work closely with engineers and contractors to resolve field issues
- Coordinate construction requirements and fiber splicing activities
- Support team performance, training, and development
- 4+ years of telecom/OSP construction experience
- Experience managing construction crews or contractors
- Ability to work independently and solve field problems
- RUS/NEC knowledge is a plus
