QUALIFICATIONSHigh School graduate or equivalent required with some college coursework preferred. Requires strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and the public. Previous sales experience preferred. Ability to project a professional attitude and appearance is essential. Proficient computer skills utilizing MS Office with the aptitude to learn other systems and applications. Experience with Rec Trac recreation software a plus.
Strong general math skills with cash handling experience required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi‑task. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous office and customer service experience required. Must have availability to work evenings and weekends.
Under the direction and supervision of the Membership Services Manager, the Membership Services Representative is primarily responsible for sales of all memberships, providing quality customer service, membership account inquiries, membership upgrades, downgrades and cancellations, providing facility tours and handling customer service issues. This position includes frequent interaction with the public and park district staff to follow up on concerns and ensure compliance with park district procedures.
This is an at‑will position.
