Physician - Dermatologist

Position Summary

The University of Kansas Health System, Division of Dermatology, seeks a full‑time Dermatologist to join a growing team in Overland Park, Kansas. The role offers dynamic academic practice with patient care, education, and research integrated within one of the nation’s leading academic health systems.

• Engage in a broad scope of dermatology, from high‑volume general dermatology to management of medically complex cases.
• Receive robust clinical support from a dedicated care team with an excellent staffing ratio of 2.5 FTE support staff per 1.0 FTE physician.
• Participate in research and innovation, including clinical trials, investigator‑initiated studies, or independent research interests based on career goals.
• Collaborate academically with colleagues, teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Expand practice into advanced subspecialty areas such as Immunodermatology, Complex Medical and Inpatient Dermatology, Dermato‑Oncology, and Transplant Dermatology, and pursue a Clinician‑Investigator Track if desired.

• MD or DO.
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Dermatology residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Kansas and Missouri.
• Prior clinical experience in dermatology preferred.
