The Student Associate Program is distinct from our Internship Program. Both offer meaningful professional experience, with differences in structure, exposure, and learning focused aligned to their respective objectives. Our Student Associate Program offers college students the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on work experience while supporting key business functions during the summer months. Student Associates play an important role in contributing to day-to-day operations, assisting with projects, and learning how their academic studies connect to real-world applications.

The program is designed to provide meaningful work experience in a professional environment without the structure of a formal internship, while still allowing participants to build skills, expand networks, and make a tangible impact.

The OSI Global Communications Team Intern will put his/her communications and marketing skills to the test while exploring new areas for growth and learning. We have many exciting projects including a global newsletter, global intranet site, increased social media presence, video segments plus so much more. • Writing / editing – sharp skills and able to write blurbs, newsletter entries, social media posts
• Social media – analyze global social media, suggest what’s needed to boost activity, execute
• Events – ready to help organize/execute different segments of large events on the horizon
• Digital communications – create materials, determine best mediums, help manage channel
• Research – conduct research, determine value
• More – new ideas are always pouring in; we’re looking for go-getters to help us achieve it all

• Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.
• Work conditions are typical of an office environment
• This role does not require any domestic travel
• Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds
• Position may require frequent and/or infrequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use of hands or fingers, talking, hearing, feeling objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring
• Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for less than 4 hours
