We’re partnering with a school district in Cook County, Illinois to hire multiple dedicated Special Education Teachers and Case Managers to support elementary-grade students.
This is a full-time, in-person role focused on helping elementary students succeed academically, socially, and developmentally within a supportive school environment.
- Location: In-person, Cook County, IL
- Setting: Elementary School
- Weekly Hours: Full-Time
- Duration: Remainder of the 2025–2026 school year
Responsibilities:
- Implement and support IEP goals and individualized learning plans.
- Provide academic, social, and functional support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation and actively participate in IEP meetings.
- Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment that supports student growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement.
- Experience working with elementary school students in co-teach or special education settings.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
