School Psychologist

Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist to support elementary students in Aurora, Illinois for the  school year.

This position will serve two elementary school campuses and provide a combination of psycho educational evaluations, consultation, IEP participation, and student support services as part of a multidisciplinary special education team.

Location:

Aurora IL - Split between 2 elementary schools

School Year: August 12th 2026 - June 8th 2027

Schedule:

31.5 hours per week (.9 FTE)

$55-$61+/hr based on experience (W-2)

• Conduct psycho educational evaluations and assessments
• Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive written reports
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and eligibility determinations
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
• Consult with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff regarding student needs
• Assist in the development and implementation of behavioral and academic interventions
• Support compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
• Collaborate with educational teams to promote student success and positive outcomes

• Master's Degree, Specialist Degree (Ed.S.), or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Strong knowledge of special education procedures, psycho educational assessment, and IEP processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
