Position: School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Aurora, Illinois

This contract-based opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about speech and language services, including those seeking work as an SLP (with CCC or CFY status) or an SLPA with experience in school environments.

Work onsite with a manageable caseload, providing direct services and support to students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Enjoy regular school hours and be a key resource for both the school year and Extended School Year (ESY) programming.

What you bring:

• Valid state licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
• Prior experience delivering speech and language services in a school setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy to K-6 students
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to develop and implement student communication goals
• Maintain documentation and progress reports aligned with IEP requirements
• Adapt therapy techniques to individual and group sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of student support plans

Schedule and assignment details:

• Standard onsite hours: 8:00am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday
• ESY hours: 8:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday (June 1 - June 29)
• School year ends May 29; SY 26-27 staff begin August 13
• Caseload: 5 classrooms, each with a maximum of 6 students; current enrollment 22 (may increase by
  2)
