We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to provide school psychologist services for high school students during the upcoming academic year. This is an onsite contract opportunity within a supportive educational environment, serving a caseload of approximately 30 students.

The position begins August 10, 2026 and runs through May 14, 2027, with consistent daytime hours from 7:30AM to 3:00PM. You'll play a pivotal role in helping students achieve success by delivering psychological assessments, collaborating with educators, and guiding interventions that foster wellbeing and positive educational outcomes.

Qualifications and

Experience:
  • Active, valid Illinois School Psychologist license required
  • Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
  • Knowledgeable in best practices for psychological assessments and interventions in educational settings
  • Effective communicator-able to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
  • Comfortable working independently and sharing expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to being onsite throughout the contract period
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and interpret findings for high school students
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement strategies supporting student learning and emotional development
  • Support students individually and in small group settings as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention planning
  • Maintain thorough and confidential records of service delivery and evaluations
