Summary of ResponsibilitiesElementary Bilingual Teacher (Spanish) for Dual Language program. The dual language teacher is responsible for developing lesson plans and delivering engaging, differentiated instruction that is aligned with the curriculum through an interdisciplinary and bi-literacy approach and following guidelines set by State of Illinois law and board policy. The teacher is responsible for creating an environment of respect and rapport while establishing a culture for inquiry and language learning in which safety and order is the norm.
Summaryof Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree; one to two years related experience and/or training preferred. Appropriate valid Illinois Professional Educators License with an Early Childhood (Birth to Grade
3) endorsement, plus Special Education, Bilingual Spanish, and ESL endorsements are required.
