Leyden High School District 212 is seeking dependable, professional, and student-centered Guest Teachers to support instruction at East Leyden and West Leyden High Schools on a daily, as-needed basis.
Responsibilities- Implement teacher‑provided lesson plans
- Take accurate attendance
- Actively supervise students
- Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment
- Follow building procedures related to student behavior, safety, and communication
- Carry out lesson plans effectively so students continue learning when their teachers are absent
- Strong communication skills
- Sound judgment
- Professionalism
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Will arrive on time, follow assigned schedules and duties, remain actively engaged, and uphold Leyden's expectations for a safe, productive, and supportive learning environment
Paid by day worked, ranging from $150–$200 per day, depending on the number of periods worked.
