This position covers the  school year. The School Psychologist works 180 days per year for 7.5 hours daily and earns $63,580.83–$ annually, depending on experience and degree. The grade level, location, and academic programming are chosen based on candidate preference and availability.

• Measure and interpret intellectual, adaptive, academic, social, and emotional development to support students’ growth.
• Administer and score psychological assessments and conduct/interpret psychological and neuropsychological tests to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• Analyze and interpret developmental measures to provide tailored support for students’ growth.
• Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with school staff to address the educational needs of eligible students.
• Provide direct counseling services, including individual and group sessions for students facing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges.
• Consult with staff and families to develop and apply effective interventions and support strategies.
• Monitor student progress and outcomes; regularly evaluate and adjust interventions to promote educational and personal success.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on psychological assessments and strategies to support appropriate accommodations and services.
• Respond to school crises with crisis intervention services to maintain emotional and psychological stability.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices, legal guidelines, and ethical standards in school psychology and special education.

• Must have a Master’s, Specialist degree, or Doctorate in School Psychology.
• Hold or be eligible for an Illinois professional educator license with a School Psychologist (PK–Age 21) endorsement.
• Proficiency with school-based technology and office software, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• We are unable to sponsor work visas (H-1B, J-1, etc.) or transfer sponsorship. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
