About the position:
This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Scott AFB Youth Center.
This is a flexible position, 0-40 hours per week.
Pay will be set based on experience and education and/or certification:
- Target Level: $22.31
- Intermediate Level: $20.87
- Entry Level: $18.70

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience;
if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Experience:
ALL LEVELS
- Must be a high school graduate, or equivalent; and be able to provide proof (i.e., diploma or equivalent) for verification.
- OR
- Must be a dependent of a Service Member or a DoD Civilian who is 17 years of age and pursuing a High School Diploma.
- Six months experience equivalent to the CY-02 level working in a group program for children or youth AND Completion of applicable training modules.
- OR
- 30 semester hours above the high school level which included at least 15 semester hours in early childhood education, youth development, or related fields.
- Six months experience equivalent to the CY-01 level working in a group program for children or youth AND Completion of 3 AF modules (or equivalent) AND AF Orientation Training Program.
- OR
- 15 semester hours above the high school level in early childhood education, youth development, or related field.
This is an entry level position; no previous experience required.
