The Jasper County CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) program is looking for a facilitator to fill a part time facilitator position. The Jasper County CEO program serves students from Newton High School providing an exceptional, life‑changing experience within the community. The facilitator’s role is to model a passion for learning, connect with the students and community, collaborate with the board, and, most importantly, provide guidance to the students.
The facilitator will be required to attend all class meetings and business visit sites.
The facilitator position is a half‑time position. The class time for the position is 7:45 AM – 9:15 AM, approximately 15 hours per week, 35 weeks per year. Additional time may be necessary for arranging business visits, guest speakers, etc. The program is managed through a local board of business owners and community members.

- Willing to identify and rely upon community members who are experts in their respective fields.
- Able to contextualize and prioritize Craig Lindvahl's and their own life lessons throughout the program.
- Able to organize multiple schedules and events that include many stakeholders.
- Dedicated to building and strengthening relationships with students.
- An excited, self‑motivated lifelong learner.
- Naturally curious.
- Adaptable to ever‑changing expectations and environments.
- Able to interact with and encourage business investors and partners.
- Comfortable working in a technology‑rich environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or 10 years Business Experience, minimum.
- Master’s Degree in Business or related field, preferred.
- Review student journals.
- Facilitate the students’ development of the class business.
- Plan to meet students’ needs.
- Facilitate the students’ development of their personal businesses.
- Connect students to resources.
- Incorporate Life Lessons (from Things You Wish You Knew Yesterday).
- Business visit sites.
- Guest speakers.
- Networking opportunities.

- A positive image of CEO.
- Greet and introduce guests.
- Schedule changes whenever needed.
- Write weekly class updates (newsletters) to be posted on the Facebook/Website.
- Prepare a monthly board report.
- Facilitate student presentations for community organizations.

- Student and alumni activities.
- Website maintenance.
- Trade Show.
- Attend Annual National Conference.
- Participate in Webinars.
- Submit weekly newsletters.
- Complete & administer Midland Institute surveys.
