About the Role:
We’re seeking a highly skilled Dell Storage Engineer to support a critical project at Buckley Air Force Base. In this role, you’ll play a key part in optimizing and scaling storage infrastructure, bringing best practices to rectify past misconfigurations and prepare for a large-scale data migration. This is an onsite role requiring an active TS/SCI clearance and deep expertise in storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Rectify best practices and resolve storage issues from non-Dell configurations.Support migration to Dell Power Store, ensuring seamless data transfer and system optimization.Manage and scale the environment from a few hundred TB to 60 PB over the next 12-18 months.Administer and maintain Dell storage solutions, including Hitachi/Unity arrays and Power Store.Provide post-configuration assistance and ongoing operations & maintenance support.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure storage systems align with operational needs.Qualifications:
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.Extensive experience with Dell storage products, including Power Store.Familiarity with Hitachi/Unity arrays and transitioning environments to Dell solutions.Knowledge of Dell server models (PE750/PE760) is a plus.Proven experience scaling storage systems and managing large data environments.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement storage best practices.How to Apply:
