As a Process Engineering Intern you will be responsible for executing day‑to‑day engineering tasks for existing manufacturing processes and methods. The role includes recommending equipment, developing jigs, fixtures, and tools for assembly and warehousing operations, and contributing to team effort.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and correct process problems identified by internal and external customers.
- Execute engineering tasks identified by management.
- Develop and implement improvements to existing manufacturing processes and methods.
- Implement quality improvements in manufacturing.
- Develop jigs, fixtures, and tools to aid assembly of hearing aids.
- Create and implement process work instructions as directed by management.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
About You:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of college studies.
- Understanding of manufacturing process flow.
- Basic drafting skills.
- Able to work in a team environment.
This role’s pay range is between $20 and $25 per hour.
