Responsibilities
- Review RFPs and client requests to define scope, requirements, and proposal strategy.
- Lead the development of proposal strategies in collaboration with business development, legal and contract management, technical advisory, finance, and leadership teams. Develop detailed scopes of work for technical advisory, due diligence, independent engineering and owner’s engineering services.
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to develop methodologies, assumptions, and level‑of‑effort estimates.
- Prepare pricing tables, margin calculations, commercial terms, and key proposal documentation.
- Write and edit proposal content, including project understanding, approach, and team qualifications.
- Manage client communication during the proposal stage, including clarifications and Q&A.
- Ensure compliance with RFP submission requirements and maintain organized proposal archives.
- Manage version control, document organization, and proposal templates. Develop best practices and process improvements to increase proposal efficiency and win rate.
- Track outcomes and support data-driven insights on proposal performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, renewable energy, environmental science, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in proposal management experience, ideally in renewable energy, energy consulting, or infrastructure.
- Understanding of renewable energy technologies and technical advisory services.
- Strong communication, writing, organization, and stakeholder management skill.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and proposal management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
- Preferred:
Experience with utility‑scale renewable energy project development, due diligence, or engineering advisory. - PMP, APMP, or related certification.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, Hub Spot, etc.).
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Project management and deadline‑driven execution.
- Technical writing and synthesis of complex engineering concepts.
- Cross‑functional collaboration.
- Attention to detail and quality control.
- Strategic thinking and win‑theme development.
- Client‑focused communication.
Total Rewards: Salary Range: $62,000 to $82,000 (based on job‑related factors).
Eligible for annual bonus with a target payout of 10% of base salary.
