What you'll do
As our Senior Engineering Technician - CAD, you'll be asked to take on dynamic projects. We'll count on you to:
- Interpret complex drawings, plans and specifications
- Support, manage, and teach entry-level technicians in the office
- Create drawings using CAD working in a 3D environment
- Plan and conduct complete project scope or a portion of a more diverse or larger project
- Prepare calculations, summary sheets and data
- Develop leadership skills that build autonomy
What it takes
- Associate Degree in Surveying Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology or Construction Technology required
- 5-10 years of experience required
- Substantial knowledge and expertise with engineering designs and drawing creation required
- Field experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to speak and write well required
- Strong analytical and organizational skills required
