Job Details
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis), or a related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program required.
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
  • 5-10+ years of structural engineering experience within an architectural, engineering, or consulting environment.
  • Experience designing vertical building structures utilizing structural steel, reinforced concrete, wood, and masonry framing systems.
  • Strong understanding of structural analysis, load calculations, and building system design.
  • Working knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ICC, and other applicable building codes and design standards.
  • Experience preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, construction documents, and permit submissions.
  • Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RAM Structural System, SAP
    2000, ETABS, ENERCALC, or similar platforms.
  • Experience using Autodesk Revit Structure and BIM workflows.
  • Ability to perform field investigations, existing condition assessments, and construction site observations.
  • Experience reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and supporting construction administration activities.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) certification required or in progress;
    Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with a commitment to high-quality design, client service, and continuous professional development.
