Process Improvement Engineer

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will analyze production workflows, identify waste, and implement sustainable process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. You will collaborate with plant leadership, engineering, maintenance, and production teams to optimize throughput, quality, and safety. Responsibilities include data collection and analysis, root cause investigations, standard work development, and leading cross-functional improvement projects that support our innovation, sustainability, and people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify waste and improvement opportunities
• Lead Lean/Six Sigma projects to improve quality, throughput, and cost
• Collect and analyze production data to drive decision-making
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Develop and document standard work and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across plants and operations
• Support safety, quality, and sustainability initiatives
• Provide training and coaching on process improvement tools
