Financial Analyst

* Please note this is a hybrid role in the office three days/week.

Alpha IR Group () is a strategic investor relations consulting firm providing investment community intelligence and positioning strategies to publicly traded companies. Our goal is to help CEOs, CFOs, and IR teams of publicly listed companies navigate the cycles of the public financial markets. We are looking for strategic thinkers that are dedicated to delivering exceptional client service.

We havean entry-level Financial Consulting Analyst position available if you have 1-3 years of applicable work experience within financial services, portfolio management, corporate finance or related consulting.

• Monitor daily news and stock movements of our clients, their industry, and peers.
• Perform periodic market research around key issues and topics that are impacting our publicly traded clients.
• Draft and edit client materials including investor-facing news releases, financial presentations, memos, and factsheets.
• Create and drive quarterly deliverables and analyses for our clients using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Perform regular analysis of client’s shareholder base and shareholder targeting strategies.
• Monitor sell-side research and develop targeting strategies for additional sell-side coverage.
• Help with administrative tasks including coordination of press release distribution, earnings calls, and website updates.
• Assist in responding to ad hoc client and investor inquiries.
• Spend 10-20% of your time on the phone communicating to portfolio managers and analysts on Wall Street as 'the eyes and ears on the Street' for our clients.
• Compose client materials including memos and executive summaries for companies facing strategic decisions.

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• MBA or equivalent preferred
• Solid foundation of corporate finance and accounting
• Outstanding critical thinking, oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Desire to provide top-notch client service
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Experience using Capital IQ, Ipreo, and/or Fact Set is considered a plus
