Escrow Sales Lead – Vice President

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate, and execute escrow and paying agent agreements, collaborating with internal legal counsel to minimize risk and ensure compliance.
• Work with Escrow Business Development and Private Bankers to assist with client onboarding, gather necessary documentation, and coordinate deal closings.
• Coordinate with internal specialists (foreign exchange, equity) to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.
• Support account opening, funding, and closing processes, ensuring accuracy and helping to resolve any deficiencies.
• Assist in monitoring account activity, managing tickler items, and supporting claims submission, adhering to contractual and legal obligations.
• Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and accurate resolutions.
• May participate in sales calls and client presentations to promote Escrow Agent services.
• Adhere to all legal and regulatory policies of Citi Wealth.

• 2-5 years of experience in escrow, paying agent transactions, or a related financial services field.
• Familiarity with escrow and paying agent transactions.
• Understanding of the transaction lifecycle in financial services.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good project management and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal, client relationship management, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; JD is a plus.
