Senior Actuarial Analyst - Medicare

Position Purpose

Assist in financial analysis, forecasting, pricing, and risk assessment activities that support Medicare Advantage financial performance.

Fully remote within the Continental U.S.

Requires actuarial experience and progress toward an actuarial credential, meeting the Rule of 5 (combined years of actuarial experience and actuarial exams passed must equal at least
5).

Highly preferred experience includes Medicare Advantage forecasting, financial performance, Medicare FFS medical costs, savings initiatives, and provider risk-sharing arrangements.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and data analytics experience required; basic query/SQL knowledge required, and AI/Copilot experience is a plus.

• Apply principles of mathematics, probability, statistics, finance, and business to analyze Medicare FFS claims, savings initiatives, and provider risk-sharing arrangements.
• Develop and maintain quarterly forecasts for Medicare fee-for-service (FFS) medical costs, savings initiatives, and provider risk-sharing arrangements, identifying key trends, assumptions, and forecast variances.
• Develop and run data reports to identify emerging trends and gaps.
• Prepare financial and analytical exhibits and effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to support forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.

Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
