The City of Aurora is seeking experienced Telecommunications Operators (911 dispatchers) for lateral entry with the Aurora Police Department. Candidates must have at least two years of full-time 911 dispatching experience with a law enforcement agency and police dispatching and call taking experience.
Duties include handling emergency and non-emergency calls, data entry, and coordinating with public safety units.
