SUPERVISORY ACQUISITION PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Acquisition Program/Project Manager, directing or supporting the activities of a DoD funded acquisition effort.

Leads, manages, directs or is responsible for acquisition activities either directly, or in support of DoD funded acquisition efforts. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time.

Delivers presentations on acquisition program status, accomplishments, problems/analysis/solutions, requirements for support, and promotion of program objectives to senior military officers and civilians in other program offices, or the command and with using supporting commands. Represents the program office at higher levels within the organization and contractor organizations.

Works in conjunction with the contracting officer to approve terms and conditions set forth in contract negotiations, contracting plans, budgets, and changes to the scope of work to be done by the contractor.

Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. The posted pay range is $128967 – $197200/yr.
