Rush Copley Medical Center invites applications for the position of Obstetrics & Gynecology Advanced Practice Provider. This provider will support the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology with primary responsibility being surgical first assist, inpatient rounding and post‑operative care.
As a First Assist Surgical Advanced Practice Provider, you will play an integral role in both obstetric and gynecologic surgical care, supporting a full spectrum of procedures and clinical needs. This includes first assisting during cesarean deliveries, minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries, and routine gynecologic operative cases. You will work in close collaboration with obstetric and gynecologic surgeons to ensure seamless, high‑quality surgical support.
Duties & Responsibilities- Monday‑Friday, hours varied between 7 am and 5 pm.
- 21 beds L&D Unit.
- Operating room, inpatient, and outpatient care.
- Applicants with previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in women’s health or related specialty is preferred, not required. Relevant RN experience may be considered.
- APRN Candidates will require Acute Care Certification and First Assistant Certification.
Nurse Practitioner:
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process.
- Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position.
- Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP).
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Physician Assistant:
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process.
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program.
- Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Pay Range: $105,000 – $158,000.
