Position SummaryFunctions as the member of the surgical team who assists the surgeon, anesthesiologist/anesthetist and RN in delivering direct patient care during the entire preoperative experience. Acts as the primary scrub person or first assistant during the operative procedure.
Position Requirements- Graduate of a program of surgical technology of at least one year duration and possess certification by the Association of Operating Room Technicians.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Ability to function in emergency situations.
- Ability to take call as assigned and respond within 30 minutes.
Internal applicants and RUSH transfers are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

The pay range for each role reflects RUSH’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.
