Pharmacy Technician Compounding

Job Description Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in the compounding of medication orders
• Perform medication inventory management and stock replenishment

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in a laboratory setting is preferred
• Familiarity with USP 795 & 800 chapters preferred
• Proficiency in weighing with analytical balance helpful

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with healthcare professionals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly Requirements
  • Valid IL pharmacy technician license; CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Ability to pass any required background checks or drug screenings
