The Radiology Transporter transports patients to and from the Radiology Department. Other duties include darkroom duties, ordering supplies, stocking, dressing patients, front‑office duties, and clerical tasks such as answering telephones, greeting patients, preparing requisitions for outpatients, filing patient reports, and retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records. The Radiology Transport/Aide should demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology, good telephone etiquette, and a polite and friendly greeting.

Provide clerical support using telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS, and by running errands throughout the facility.

• Must have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current throughout employment.
• Transportation experience preferred.
• Starting April 2014, all new hires will require a high school diploma or equivalent.
