We are looking for a full-timeCCBHC Mental Health Practitioner to join our Merrionette Park office.
SALARY:
The average starting salary for this position will fall in the range of $59,000-$70,000annually. Where candidates fall in this range will be based on skill and experience level.
$2,500 Sign-on Bonus for first-time employees with MFS! ($1,250 on the first paycheck and $1,250 after 6 months of employment).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Performs comprehensive, in-depth assessment and clinical formulation, development ofaccuratediagnosis and strengths-based treatment plans for CCBHC services. Performs open accessas assigned.
Provides individual/group therapy, crisis intervention, and case management services, adhering to CCBHC and MRO/Medicaid rehabilitation service models.
Providesa full range of therapeutic interventions, advocacy, skill-building, and related services. Provides evidence-based treatment interventions per training and certifications.
Learnsandutilizesagency and community resources.
Assesses community conditions that affect clients toidentifyresource gaps and problems.
Works with multidisciplinary professionals including psychiatrists,nursesand community agencies to provide a continuum of coordinated care to meet the complex needs of clients.
Provide on-call or in-person crisis intervention services when necessary.
Recommends financialassistanceand other benefits the client may be entitled to.
May serve on regional or agency-wide committees.
Meets agency expectation for quantity of direct serviceandmaintainsquality and fidelity to evidence-based practices.
Maintainstimelyandaccurateclient records and any necessary agency and CCBHC required reporting.
Participates in agency and sitebasedrequired meetings and trainings.
Works effectively with diverse staff and service population.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field from an accredited college or university,required.
Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC),required.
Must obtain and maintain IM+CANS certification,required.
2+ years of post-graduate social work experience at an intermediate skill level,preferred.
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or experience working with clients experiencing substance use preferred.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),preferred.
IM+CANS certification,preferred.
ASAM certified,preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Satisfactorily pass all relevant screenings and criminal background checks.
TRAVEL/MOBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Driving forworkrequiredwith a personally owned vehicle.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle, and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, and viewing a computer terminal.
The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
