We are currently looking to fill aCommunity Support Team (CST) Clinical Supervisor role at our Merrionette Park Office.
SALARY:
The average starting salary for this position will fall in the range of $78,000-$90,000annually. Where candidates fall in this range will be based on skill and experience level.
$2,500 Sign-on Bonus for first-time employees with MFS! ($1,250 on the first paycheck and $1,250 after 6 months of employment).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Clinical Oversight Reviews and authorizesIM+CANSassessments and treatment plans, ensuring medical necessity and compliance with Medicaid, CST requirements,and CCBHC standards.
- Responsible formaintainingquality and quantity of services. Keeps abreast of client service needs andparticipatesin planning for them.
- Promotes an integrated, whole-person approach to care that addresses clients' behavioral health, physical health, and safety needs.
- Services are grounded in evidence-based practices.
- Staff Supervision Cultivatesa positive, collaborativeteamculture.
- Leads daily team huddles and weekly team meetings tofacilitatecommunication and ensure coordinated care.
- Providesand documentsdirect clinical supervision to team members, including those seeking professional licensure.
- Responsible for all personnel matters within team including hiring, assigning, and staff. Identifies for manager, leadership potential of program staff.
- Providesweekly individual and group supervision; track licensure hours for associate-level clinicians (LPC/LSW).
- Case Consultation Servesas a primary thought partner for complex cases, crisis response, and mandated reporting decisions.
- Provideson-call clinical consultation for mobile crisis responses and stabilization efforts.
- Program Coordination Monitorsteam caseloads and ensure appropriate staff-to-clientratios.
- Assists with scheduling to ensure client needs are met daily.
- Managesdaily operations, including scheduling, performance metrics, and service integration.
- Ensures appropriate integrationsof multi-service, multi-disciplinary, and systems approach.
- Program Planning & Budgeting Participates in developing the unit’s annual and long-range plans and recommend program budgets to management.
- Client Care & Clinical Services Provides direct services each week, including mental health rehabilitative services, therapy (individual, group, and/or family), and crisis intervention as needed.
- Conductsperson-centered assessments and developsindividualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Diagnosesand treatsbehavioral health conditions using evidence-based practices.
- Identifies and responds to changes in client needs, including decompensation or risk of hospitalization, andadjustslevels of care accordingly.
- Coordinatescare with family members, internal providers (medical, dental, SA/DV), and external partners such as schools, DCFS, hospitals, and community organizations.
- Deliversservices in the home, community settings,and virtually, as appropriate.
- Responds to client and family needs outside of scheduled sessions, including during crises.
- Quality Assurance Ensuresfidelity to evidence-based models and compliance with documentation standards, billing requirements, organizational policies, and regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Completesand reviewsclinical documentation (i.e., IM+CANS, progress notes) to ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
- Auditsclinical documentation to ensure it meets medical necessity and "Golden Thread" standards for CCBHC auditing.
- Community Engagement
- Developsandmaintainspartnerships with local providers and community groups tofacilitateclient referrals and linkages.
- Workseffectivelywithdiverse staffandservicepopulation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstratedsuperiorskillswithfamiliesorcommunities.
- Demonstratedcompetenceinconsultation,teaching,and writing.
- Abilitytoworkinthecommunitywithassignedcaseload.
- Abilitytoworkeffectivelywithdiverseindividualsandgroups
- Master's Degree in Social Work,Counseling orrelated field froman accredited college or university,required.
- Must be an LPHA in the State of Illinois,Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),required.
