Sleep Medicine Advanced Practice Provider

Rush University Medical Center,a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Sleep Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (APP).

• Practice alongside four Sleep Medicine physicians and four Sleep Medicine APPs
• Cross collaboration with sleep ENT and Medical Weight Loss
• American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) accredited center

• Evaluate and manage patients with sleep disorders (e.g., obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome).
• Adjust PAP therapy, dose titration, and other treatment plans.
• Conduct outpatient follow-up visits and coordinate longitudinal care.
• Collaborate with sleep physicians and multidisciplinary teams on complex cases.
• Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
• Help manage patient cohort related to weight-loss–linked sleep management, follow-ups, and repeat sleep studies
• 5-day, 8-hour shift schedule, days only, Monday-Friday
• Reports to the Division Administrator
• 100% outpatient

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost effective and quality patient care. The individual who holds this position will exemplify the Rush mission, vision and values and act in accordance with the policies, procedures, guidelines of Rush, including the Rush Medical Group Customer Service standards. Successful candidates will also meet all other state and federal regulatory practice and accreditation standards.

Rush has over 600 APPs across the enterprise that provide comprehensive patient care each day autonomously and in collaboration with other members of the health care team. Across the system, the APPs are supported by 4 levels of leadership, including 39 Lead APPs, three chief CRNAs, and a Senior Director of Advanced Practice Providers. Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, specialty; relevant experience and training; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.

Additional compensation may include premium pay rates, sign-on bonuses, and relocation allowances. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Pay Range: $121,000 - $183,000
