Scheduler, Healthcare

** Position Summary** :  Responsible for scheduling outpatient radiology services, outpatient registration, and pre-certification of insurance benefits.  Answers incoming calls and fields them to the appropriate department or individual.  Responds to general outpatient requests.

** Hours/Shift*
* Monday 830-5:00, Wednesday 830-5:00, Friday 730-4:00 + every other Wednesday or Thursday 830-5:00

OR

Monday - Thursday 10:00
-330 and Friday 10:00
-4:00.

** Position Requirements** :

+ High school diploma required;
Associate's degree preferred.

+ Bilingual (Spanish) abilities highly desirable.

+ Must have excellent oral communications in order to solicit information and provide exam preparation requirements to patients and families.

+ Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
