General FunctionThe Associate Optometrist leads the organization in delivering the brand promise and key results through collaboration and teamwork. They ensure all patients receive the highest quality optometric care by performing clinical protocols, maximizing practice growth, and serving as a brand ambassador inside and outside the organization.
MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Ensure executional excellence and win results in partnership with the Mode and store team.
- Demonstrate commitment to exceeding results through strong KPI management and accountability.
- Ensure the brand is known as the leading optical provider in the community.
- Operate as a successful stakeholder to all leaders within the organization and local market.
- Place the patient/customer first and deliver excellent service.
- Strive to exceed expectations on all KPIs.
- Convey a commitment to providing unsurpassed patient service by following the Service Process steps, including:
- Address all patients/customers’ visual lifestyle needs.
- Make eyewear recommendations based on patient needs.
- Explain each step of the eye exam and listen carefully to patients.
- Use available tools and visual aids to ensure patients understand their vision, eye health, and overall well being.
- Communicate the need for annual eye exams and schedule appointments accordingly.
- Conduct all services in accordance with protocol and accepted standards of care.
- Ensure all patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
- Establish a positive doctor‑patient relationship.
- Utilize and leverage all technology to deliver unsurpassed patient experiences.
- Maintain office systems and software.
- Maintain state licensure in good standing and meet continuing education requirements.
- Provide effective training and guidance to team members using company programs.
- Deliver clear, motivating, and constructive feedback to all associates in a timely manner.
- Create a positive culture linked to corporate values and motivate individuals appropriately.
- Encourage associate decision making at the patient‑closest level.
- Maximize partnerships through leadership, participation, and involvement.
- Take pride in the appearance of the office.

Pay Range: $59.75–$83.77 per hour. This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Compensation is determined by geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. Bonuses and commissions may be offered, complementing a first‑class total rewards package that may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
