Job Description

Step into a meaningful contract role supporting students’ success as a School Psychologist in the greater Champaign, IL area. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide vital psychological services in a supportive educational setting—helping learners achieve their fullest potential.

Position Highlights:

  • Engage in ongoing assessment, intervention, and consultation services for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective educational and behavioral plans
  • Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and support for diverse student needs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and federal guidelines
  • Assist in response-to-intervention (RTI) and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
  • Act as an advocate for student well-being and positive school climate

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Current (or eligibility for) state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois
  • Experience supporting children at the preschool, elementary, middle, or high school level (preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral assessment tools
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and culturally proficient care
  • Familiarity with laws concerning special education and Section 504

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.00 to $60.00.
